It has been a while since I ran for fun, and I wish I could say those days are not over. In other words, I need to run more often, otherwise my gut will grow. If I could afford a pool, I would use this particular piece of exercise equipment called the PoolSprint, which is essentially a treadmill underwater.
Anyone who has ever ran underwater knows how difficult it is to move your legs in the drink, and this is the whole point. Sometimes exercise and other athletics is about doing things that are hard so other physical activities are easier.
For example, those basketball hoop rims that you can buy that are smaller than the usual hoop. This way, it is a lot easier to make a real basket.
I would imagine that after the PoolSprint allows the user to feel like they are running on air after a few runs in the PoolSprint.
I look at this device and wonder is it possible to do a treadmill underwater without those handles that you grab on to like a treadmill on land. Is there any reason that a PoolSprint user couldn’t just run in the shallow end of the pool and get the same type of workout?

Golf carts are fun, but they just look so puny. Instead of riding around in some incredibly slow and fragile looking golf cart, you need this Batman inspired golf cart. Sure, it’s not going to be able to do nearly as many tricks as the tumbler in the Batman movies, but at least you’ll get to look cool while cruising around at the high speed of 15 miles an hour.
This just happens to have been created by a Warner Bros. employee who works in LA. Hopefully his creation will soon be a part of the tour of the studio, at least it should be added. There is no current tutorial or any hint on how this was made. This is just a picture that someone captured while on the studio grounds, so there really isn’t much information at all to go with it.

Even though we've never reviewed them here (what's wrong with us?) we actually own and use both the Powermonkey eXplorer
and the Solio Magnesium Edition Solar Charger
and find both of them quite satisfactory. However either of these solar chargers run upwards of $100 to own. ThinkGeek has the budget conscious in mind with the Pico Freeloader Solar Charger, a compact and lightweight wonder that according to the specs provides power of 35 hours on mobile phone, 14 hours on iPod, or 1.5 hours on GPS on a single ten hour charge. What's particularly nice about the Pico is that you can recharge its internal lithium ion via USB in case of eternal winter (no sun). Oh, did we mention it's only $39?

I’m not certain what the technology is that uses fast moving LEDs to create messages, but I have seen it a lot on novelty gadgets. I remember walking into a gadget shop and seeing this thing that could wave a flag-like thing, and I could see words being displayed. I suppose it was an obvious move to apply this moving LED technology to bicycle wheels. If the bike wheel is stationary, all you will see is a bunch of glowing LEDs that blink with no real pattern. However, once this bike goes spinning, you will see all kinds of pictures and animations.
You can click on my Source to see the video of the LED lights on bike wheels for yourself. The animation is about the same as those of neon lights, but it is good enough to get an advertising message across. I wonder if this is the purpose of this device.
This technology was developed by Japan’s Suns and Moon Laboratory, and it was shown off at the Tokyo Make Meeting last weekend. You can see the words “Make: Tokyo” on the wheel itself, no doubt made just for this occasion.
This LED system runs on batteries, and not the kinetic motion generated by the rider itself. It also costs about $165, and I have no information as to how to program your bik
e LEDs to send the right message.

The Melbourne to Karachi tram or the W-11 tram was a Z class tram decorated by a team of professional Pakistani vehicle decorators, commissioned by the City of Melbourne for the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Origin of the name
The name is based on the W-11 buses originally found in Karachi, Pakistan, which are a model of minibus famous for their entertainment value: decorated with lush designs and playing popular Pakistani or Indian music. Competition between buses has made these buses famous for their extravagant designs and entertainment. The tram
As a showcase of Pakistani culture, the tram was commissioned for the Commonwealth Games, and a team of W-11 decorators were invited to decorate the tram, which toured around the city for the duration of the games, playing Bhangra and Pakistani music.External links

Microsoft has confirmed that it is set to launch Project Natal this coming October in time for the busy holiday season.
Project Natal is the code name for a controller-free gaming and entertainment experience by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game platform. Based on an add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360 console, it enables users to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without the need to touch a game controller through a natural user interface using gestures, spoken commands, or presented objects and images. The project is aimed at broadening the Xbox 360’s audience beyond its typical gamer base.
Microsoft Saudi marketing manager Syed Bilal Tariq confirmed Microsoft’s Project Natal motion-sensing camera for the Xbox 360 will launch worldwide somewhere in October in an interview GamertagRadio. He further told “We will be in a position to confirm the date at E3, which is in June, but definitely it is going to be October 2010″.
