Fastest century in T20 from McCullam ....! NZ v AUS

Brendon McCullum equaled the record for fastest century of T20 international cricket when he scored a breathtaking century against Australia in a T20 encounter in Christchurch, NZ today. McCullum hit as many as 8 sixes in his score of 116, just one short of highest T20 score by Chris Gayle. However, NZ opener equaled Gayle's record of fastest century of 49 balls which he scored against South Africa in the opening match of 2007 world T20.
Batting first, NZ reached a huge score of 214 belting Aussie bowlers all around the park. Australians, as always, came out all guns blazing with Haddin, Clark and White scoring 47, 67 and 64 at a brisk pace. The match ended in a tie when Australia managed same score as NZ in their 20 overs. In the one over eliminator Australia could only manage 6 runs with some brilliant bowling by Tim Southee. NZ scored 9 runs of 4 balls and won the match by super over.
